Programs, Saved Sessions, And Exercises

Understand the three core training objects before deciding what to build or reuse.

The mobile Library mirrors the core web objects while keeping them close to the calendar.

What Each Object Owns

Program
A multi-week plan made of weeks and training days. Use it when progression, scheduling, or repeated structure matters.
Saved session
A reusable single workout. Use it when a day should be inserted into several programs or run on its own.
Exercise
A movement record used inside sessions and programs. Exercise records carry searchable names, aliases, muscles, equipment, and instructions.

How To Avoid Rebuilding Work

  1. Create the exercise once

Keep the exercise library clean before using the movement across programs or saved sessions.

  2. Save repeatable days as sessions

If a training day is useful outside one program, save it as a session and import it where needed.

  3. Use programs for planned blocks

When the work spans several weeks or needs scheduling, keep the structure in a program instead of a collection of loose sessions.
