Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 April 2026
1. Who we are
Kiron is a training and coaching platform operated by a sole trader based in Australia. In this policy “Kiron”, “we”, and “us” refer to that operator. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where applicable, we also take into account the EU General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act for users in those regions.
You can reach us at contact@kironfit.com.
2. What we collect
When you use Kiron we may collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, a hashed password, and your account type (athlete or coach).
- Profile information — a bio, training preferences, goals, and anything else you choose to add.
- Training data — programs you create or follow, workouts, sets, reps, RPE, schedules, and related notes.
- Payment information — handled by our payment providers (Stripe for web, Apple and RevenueCat for iOS). We don’t store full card numbers; we receive limited metadata such as last four digits, billing status, and subscription period.
- Communications — messages you send us and records of our replies.
- Device and usage information — IP address, device and OS type, app version, and diagnostic or error logs that help us keep the service working.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Kiron;
- Process payments and subscriptions, manage entitlements, and deliver the features included with your plan;
- Send transactional and service messages (for example, receipts, password resets, security notices);
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate Kiron, and only to the extent they need it. These currently include:
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Apple and RevenueCat — iOS purchases and subscription entitlement management.
- Cloudflare — hosting, networking, and abuse protection for our web and API services.
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails.
We may also share information to comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the safety of our users or the public. If Kiron is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we’ll let you know if that happens.
We don’t sell your personal information.
5. International transfers
We’re based in Australia, and some of the providers above are based in or route data through the United States, the European Union, or other regions. Where your personal information is transferred overseas, we rely on the contractual and security commitments of those providers, and on the protections of the laws that apply to them.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, so we can answer support questions, resolve disputes, meet tax and financial record-keeping obligations, and prevent fraud. When it’s no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see below.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and ask for a copy;
- Correct information that’s inaccurate or out of date;
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Object to, restrict, or withdraw consent for certain processing; and
- Ask for a portable copy of the information you’ve provided to us.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@kironfit.com. If you’re in Australia and you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your privacy, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). Users in the EEA, UK, or California also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
8. Children
Kiron is intended for users 13 and older. If you are under 18, you may only use Kiron with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information without that consent, contact us and we’ll remove it.
9. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and similar technologies for things like keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, and maintaining session security. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of Kiron may not work properly without them.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — for example, encrypting data in transit, hashing passwords, and limiting access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach that affects you, we’ll let you know in line with applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If the change is material we’ll notify you by email or in-app. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
